Today we start a new feature here at Bantam Street, in which we’ll provide periodic updates on the various projects our regular cast and crew are currently working on. First up is ace Production Designer Anthony Tremblay, who created (among other things) Lattis and Krobar’s marvelous flying saucer and the Temple of the Cantaloupe People in LOST SKELETON RETURNS AGAIN, and the Cavinder Mansion (both miniature exterior and full size interiors) for DARK AND STORMY NIGHT.
Anthony is working on several things; a sales tool designed to green light a film about the colonization of a new planet, whose working title is COLONY. The premise is described as being AVATAR-like, but with a far more cerebral story. (Top photo). Another project is a talk show, “My Black is Beautiful”. (Bottom photo). Lastly, next month he’ll be starting work on a new TV series for Nickelodeon, titled “Supah Ninjas”, sort of “Batman” for kids. It will have lots of gadgets, comedy and a really cool robot. Coming in the spring of 2011.
